Booking an interpreter

If you are a new customer of Cintra, you will need to register as a customer with us before we can confirm your booking. The bookings coordinators will send a registration form to you when they take the details of your booking.

Once you are a registered customer, you can book by telephone, email or fax. See Contact us for our contact details.

When you book an interpreter you will need to provide clear information about the appointment, to ensure the interpreter is well prepared and arrives at the right time and place. Cintra will treat this information as confidential and according to data protection procedures. The information includes:

  • Language / dialect required
  • Subject of appointment
  • Date and time of appointment
  • Expected total duration of the appointment
  • Location of appointment
  • Name of service user
  • Name of staff member who will meet the interpreter
  • Any other important information about the booking

The language and dialect required is very important information and may not be obvious. Information on the type of assignment and any specific instructions, technical requirements or sensitivities are also extremely important. The more information we have about an assignment, the more likely we are to be able to provide the most appropriately qualified and experienced interpreter.
