Parkside Sporting and Leisure Facilities

The current Parkside Pool opened in April 1999. It offers superb
facilities in an attractive building, thanks to a National Lottery
grant. Adult swims cost £3.85, but Leisure Cards, which can be
purchased at the pool, (or at the Tourist Office opposite the Corn
Exchange) will bring that down to £1.95 for those on benefits
(Card A), and £3.10 for others, and £1.05 for children
on Card A. The Kelsey Kerridge Leisure Centre next door to the pool encourages young people's subsidised access, particularly for roller-skating. If you are looking to learn rock-climbing or wish to participate in a variety of sports, contact Kelsey Kerridge for details. |
