Parkside Sporting and Leisure Facilities

The Parkside Pool re-opened in April 1999. It now offers superb
facilities in an attractive building, thanks to a National Lottery
grant. Adult swims cost
£ 2.50, but Leisure Cards, which can be purchased at the pool,
(or at the Tourist Office opposite the Corn Exchange) will bring
that down to £ 1 for those on benefits
(Card A), and £ 2 for others, and 50p for children on Card A.
The Kelsey Kerridge Leisure Centre next door to the pool encourages young people's subsidised access, particularly for roller-skating. If you are looking to learn rock-climbing or wish to participate in a variety of sports, contact Kelsey Kerridge for details. |
