Free Computer Lessons

New computer users are being given the chance to attend free one-to-one computer lessons with Cambridge OnLine thanks to a grant from UK online centres.  Two new courses are available:  "Starting with computers" will guide people through the basics of using a mouse and keyboard on a computer, in easy-to-follow steps.  "Starting with myguide" introduces people to the internet and email.  Both courses last around 30 minutes, and can be undertaken in one session.  These courses are ideal for people who are new to computers. We can show you how to stay in touch with friends across the world through email, use the internet for shopping, or just learn how to use a word processor.  The best thing about the courses is that each learner has their own tutor. It's not a classroom setting.  Further information is available by calling 01223 300407
