Volunteers support Cambridge Online City by: If you would be interested in volunteering, please get in touch.

Volunteers are key to the success of Cambridge Online City, and agree that they get enormous satisfaction from their work. Volunteer tutors quickly improve their skills not just with using the internet but also in communicating effectively with a broad range of people - talents that are very desirable for prospective employers! Helping to broaden the community's internet skills can potentially help us all, directly or indirectly. The tutors are a fluctuating group. Some have been working with Cambridge Online City for several years, others work only a few weeks during a study visit to Cambridge. New tutors are supported until they feel comfortable in holding their own tutorials.

The Pathways Project has its own small team of able-bodied and disabled volunteers to support new users.

Cambridge Online City is extremely grateful to and appreciative of the many people who have supported and who continue to support this project. Without their sustained contribution, Cambridge Online City would be unable to deliver its services so effectively.
