Frequently asked questions

To use a Cambridge Online access point, click here to choose a location, ring to find out when it is available, and book a session if necessary. It is free to use the internet, email, or any of the software on the computer.

The computer doesn't work! - Please report any problems with the computer to the staff at the access points.

The printer cartridge has run out - The staff at the access points are responsible for replacing the printer cartridges. This is why they have to charge for the public printing anything. Please tell them that the cartridge needs replacing.

There is no paper - The staff at the access point will find some paper for you.

There are funny things on the screen - Tell the staff at the access point exactly what the problem is. They will report it to the maintenance people.

The Cambridge Online homepage doesn't come up when I click on the Home button - Tell the staff at the access point about it. They will report it to the maintenance people.

I don't know how to use the computer - The staff at the access point are not responsible for helping you use the computer. Book a free personal tutorial with Cambridge Online.

How do I get to use the computer? - Ring the relevant phone number for the access point to check when they are open, and if you need to book a session. Or you can go to the location to ask. If no-one is on the access point, then sit down and start using it, although you might have to stop if someone who has booked a session turns up.
