Young Carers
The Young Carers Development Group
The Young Carers Development Group is made up of representatives from both the statutory (Social Services, Education, Health Authority) and voluntary (Centre 33) agencies who are interested in improving information and services for young people who care for a member of their family.
Development Group Aims
- To identify the needs of Young Carers in Cambridge and the surrounding area.
- To raise awareness of their needs within all children's and young people's services and networks.
- To promote the development of local action, services, support and advocacy networks which young carers could use.
