Kay specialises sessions for unconfident singers or singers already who want to explore their voices further in a fun, supportive environment. She runs a fortnightly group for adults on Wednesday evenings at Girton. She also teaches adults and children with learning disabilities and runs a performance group, 'Street Voices' for residents of the ECHG homeless hostels in Cambridge and other members of the street community. Her workshops include gentle physical and vocal warm-ups, singing games and songs from a variety of cultures. Everything is taught by ear, so there is no need to read music.
