What is it?
A Cambridge-based organisation that provides help and support
for those experiencing difficulties in their personal lives and
in their relationships. These include people who are:
- struggling with personal and emotional issues
- having difficulties with their partner
- experiencing problems with the children
- suffering the bereavement of a close relationship
- struggling with separation, divorce, remarriage, being a
single parent, co-parent or step-parent
- questioning their legal position
How can we help?
By
- listening in confidence
- helping you decide what kind of support you need
- providing individual, couple and family therapy
- offering marital break-up support
- helping children involved in family crisis
- providing legal advice to those also receiving
counselling
We also provide
- marriage and relationship preparation and maintenance
- training and consultancy to individuals and to groups on
family issues and pastoral care
- focused counselling and short-term therapy for
individuals needing help with specific areas of
difficulty
- depth counselling for individuals seeking personal growth
How much do we charge?
We are a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity.
No fixed charge is made, but an appropriate payment, dependent on
your income and circumstances, will be agreed when you first come
to see us.
How do I make an appointment?
Please phone us on (01223) 464385 between 9am and 5pm Monday-Thursday
or 9am and 3pm Friday, to arrange an initial session which will enable
us to decide how we can best help you, and you to decide whether
you would like to proceed further.
We are located at The Maltings,
41 Chesterton High Street, Cambridge, CB4 1NQ, opposite the Haymakers Pub.
