These statistics have been gathered from the information supplied by
enterprises contacted in the course of ongoing mapping and research that CCDA
conducts as part of its core activities. The figures were extrapolated from
the 40% of returns that had been received for the year 2002/3. Mori poles are
based on a 2% sample of a population.
(Figures are also shown for the same data captured in 1999 / 2000 as a
comparison.)

A fully searchable database of co-operative and social enterprises can be

website to which CCDA contributes it's on-going research in this area. The
Nearbuyou
website has a directory of social enterprises, a tender database and
the opportunity to build community areas.
