Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridgeshire Health Authority, and
the Legal Services Commission, and also depends on individual

Fridays, 9.30am-12.30pm, at John Huntingdon House, Tannery Lane.
General advice sessions - just drop in. Family law advice by appointment.
Help with claiming benefits, appeals against decisions and
representations at tribunals.
Advice on such matters as rent arrears, harassment, eviction, security
of tenure, rent etc.
Advice on immigration and nationality, dealing with Home Office
procedures, visas, naturalization, work permits, bringing spouses and
other relatives into the UK, and asylum.
Dealing with unfair dismissal, discrimination, unpaid wages,
redundancy, or any aspect of employment rights. Representation at
Employment Tribunals.
Advice on divorce, separation and mediation.
Specialist advisers help people organise their debts, negotiate with
creditors, plan their budgets, maximise their income, and represent
them in court.
Help to get satisfaction over faulty goods, failed services, poor repairs,
package holidays that go wrong, insurance, or any consumer issue.
This team provides extra support for people with mental health
problems to enable them to claim what they are entitled to and to
gain access to the appropriate services. Workers are based at
Newmarket Road and are also available by appointment at Fulbourn
Hospital.
Free advice sessions on any legal problem, with local lawyers will be available soon.
Free advice on design, planning permission, builders� contracts and
conversions, provided by local members of the Royal Institute of British
Architects. At the Newmarket Road office, on various Saturday
mornings and Tuesday lunchtimes, by appointment. Call 01223 222660 to check dates and times and to make an appointment.
Members of our team are available to give talks and training sessions
about the work of the CAB or on specific subjects such as welfare
rights, to members of any group or to staff and volunteers in other
organisations.
Free access to the internet is available via a Cambridge On-line City
terminal in the reception area in the main bureau in Newmarket Road.
Home

to visit the Bureau, particularly to help
them complete disability benefit claim
