Advice Information Counselling Huntingdon
Advice and Information provided for young people from 14 - 25. We aim to offer a warm and friendly atmosphere where young people can receive support and help, on any matter that may be troubling them, including welfare rights.
Most young people experience times of confusion and loss of confidence, when nothing seems to go right.
Youth Counselling can offer young people a sympathetic and private place to explore personal difficulties.
The Youth Counsellor aims to provide the space needed to enable a young person to begin to understand and resolve their own difficulties.
Community Education Youth Resource Base
Contact: Pauline Brooker Tel: 01480 375033
Open: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10am-2pm
The Youth Resource Base is a service provided by the Community Education Department of Cambridgeshire County Council. Any youth organisation or group can book and borrow a wide range of resources to help you develop your work with young people.
There is a wide range of craft kits, electrical equipment, video cameras and activity ideas. We are also currently developing information packs for Youth Workers. In most cases there is a small charge to cover the cost of replacing the materials and equipment.
When Pauline is not at the resource base, just leave a message on the answer machine, she will then contact you as soon as she can. Items can be collected from the Youth Centre any week day or evening.
Better still, why not come in and see what we have got?
