| Gwydir Street is typical of
the Petersfield area. It consists of a narrow street of terraced houses
with a few local pubs. There is very little car parking space and a problem with uneven, narrow pavements. At the corner of Gwydir Street and Mill Road is a Victorian Bath House, converted into a community centre and the Dale's Brewery building, which contains the Cambridge Darkroom Gallery (Tel:01223 566725. Opening times: Tuesday-Sunday 12.00-5.00pm. Admission free). It also contains an internet access point. In surrounding streets local artists have decorated their houses in highly individual ways.
