Policy
It is the policy of Cherry Kids Club to keep our fees to a minimum, whilst still raising enough income to cover our running costs. Cherry Kids’ Club is a non-profit making charitable enterprise.
1. The current price per session per child applies to is £5.50 for all children. This is payable for all sessions including whenif
your child is sick,
or on holiday (regardless of the amount of notice given). The alternative to not paying for
holidays/sickness would be a higher fee, which the committee consideris unfair
on those users who attend every session booked.
2. Bank holidays and professional'Baker'
days will not be charged for.
3. Fees are payable a minimum of a week in advance by cash or cheque.
4. Non-payment for more than 1 month will result in your place being terminated.
5. The club finishes at 6:00pm,6:00pm; if you
are delayed for whatever reason please telephone the club to inform them of the
situation. A late payment fee of £5 per
15 minutes will be charged if children are collected after 6:05pm. You may also be asked to make a contribution
towards the extra staff wages and transport costs incurred.
6. Children of members of staff will be charged at 50% of the current rate. Note
that this is considered a taxable benefit by the Inland
Revenuethe
Inland Revenue considers this a taxable benefit. If staff are ill and their child(ren)
do not attend they will not be deemed liable for the fees.
7. Those families on a low income may be able to
receive help through the Working Families Tax Credit System. Fee payment may be waived or reduced at the
discretion of the management committee under certain circumstances, which will
be decided on a case-by-case basis.Families who do not
qualify under this system, but are on a low income can apply to the committee
who will consider offering a lower rate.
